Apartment Search

I feel like reading about someone's apartment search is like seeing vacation slides from a trip to Nebraska. However, we felt we needed to share the following pictures to give you some idea of what we were up against during the hunt.

Typical New York bathroom...







This was the ONE closet in the entire apartment. Also, you can't really see it in this picture but the wall in the bathroom was slanted towards the toilet so that you had to sit sideways.

While searching for apartments, we stayed at a hotel in Midtown. First they gave us this room:



Until we asked for an upgrade and got...

    Personally, I liked the room with the blue and yellow. I like plaid, but GREEN??

    Also, the bathroom with no mirror could be okay if you don't care what you look like:)

    I think mirrors are intended to make rooms look larger. NYC apartments use a lot of mirrors. :)
